Aaso Navratri
There are four Navratri festivals, namely, Sharad (in Ashwin Month), Vasantik (in chaitra) Maha & Ashadh, ritually celebrated as per the Shakti Sampraday Traditions.
The ritual worships of Tulja Bhavani is usually performed with Nav Chandi Yagna and other worships, in Temple chowk, which is decorated and illuminated with colourful lightings from all corners, during these period of Navratri.
The devotees also enjoy Devi Darshan, Ohm Havan. More specifically during the period of Sarad masi Ashwin Navratri (in Ashwin month).
All the eight days and nine nights having its own importances as per Shakti sampraday and hence the celebration starts from the very first day of Ashwin Mas.
By breading Jawara, one kind of Holy Grass in and over a pot with Garba Deep, burning there in.
On the 7th day of the Navratri evening The Maharaja Gaiekwad’s ornaments are offered to Maa and its darshan are open on Astmi, Nom, & Dasera.
On that day large numbers of devotees come for worships & prayers. Lots of sanghs come bare foot from Padra, Baroda, Anand, Nadiad, Ahemdabad & as well as from other cities also. With Pious to hoist the flag for Mataji. Devotees Sanghs invite Mataji to their home.
The other meaning of Astmi is blessing of Mataji to Earth and Human beings. And it is the festival to offer thanks in return to Mataji. This day is also celebrated as the Birth day of Mataji, so on this day a mela is held at Ranu. On this day a huge number of Devotees visit temple do there pooja and enjoy mela as well. On Dasera Batuk Kumarika Bhojan & Maha Prasad is arranged for all devotees by the temple.
